Custom down-hole tooling packages for coil tube or wireline deployment

Custom power packs can be manufactured to create down-hole tooling packages. 4 inch tools can be deployed using either coil tube or wireline; 3 inch tools are available for wireline deployment.

Tool components typically include a motor pump assembly with a pressure intensifier which will generate up to 25,000 psi (1,700 bar) with either water or oil-based fluids. Various control valves are also typical components of of the down-hole power packs. The 4" tool motor runs

at up to 2,000 rpm delivering 2.5 l/m (0.660 USg/m) at 25,000 psi (1,700 bar). The 3" tool delivers up to 1.8 l/m (0.476 USg/m) at 25,000 psi (1,700 bar).

The drawing below shows a representative configuration of a custom made down-hole power pack (a 3" wireline unit) in three (overlapping) sections. This particular combination leads to a tool of total length 69" (1752.4 mm).
